We are currently working with an exciting new construction technology in sub-Saharan Africa. Interlocking Stabilised Soil
Block technology (ISSB) has the potential to replace the widespread, costly and environmentally damaging practice of using
fired bricks to meet the growing infrastructure needs in this region. ISSB provides an alternative form of construction
that can create durable, affordable and environmentally sound solutions to the housing, water and sanitation needs of millions
of people in sub-Saharan Africa.
