Researching and testing ISSB technology
Developing and disseminating technical information is an essential foundation for promoting the technology. We are currently
developing an 'ISSB manual' which will bring together all the technical, logistical and statistical information available
for the technology into a single, accessible document.

Advocating with government and official bodies
to promote official acceptance
Acceptance at the highest level is hugely important if any new technology is to be implemented into the mainstream with any
speed or longevity. In Uganda, The Good Earth Trust is currently joining forces with other organisations to lobby the Ministry
of Education to allow ISSB to be used for the construction of secondary schools.

Training and supporting communities, agencies
and small businesses using the technology
We work with both international and local NGOs, and believe firmly that ISSB technology should only be suggested where it
is appropriate to the people who will be using it, and who themselves have requested it.

Working with communities
on construction projects
We are involved with a number of construction projects in Kenya and Uganda, including housing, schools, water tanks and sanitation
facilities. These practical projects are vital as they not only benefit local communities but also show the technology in
action. The Good Earth Trust invites development organisations and local entrepreneurs to make on-site visits to projects.

Marketing the technology...
...to potential user agencies & businesses, including supporting the manufacture and distribution of the ISSB machines,
and acting as an independent quality control monitor for the technology.
